Northern Virginia families are already feeling the pressure of rising utility costs caused by explosive demand, aging infrastructure, and failed long-term planning.

America cannot lead the future with a weak and unstable energy system.

The next American economic boom will belong to the nations that can power:
- artificial intelligence,
- manufacturing,
- cybersecurity,
- advanced technology,
- and modern infrastructure.

America must lead that future.

That is why I will introduce the Energy Affordability & American Power Act.
My Plan Will:

Accelerate next-generation nuclear energy deployment to create reliable, American-made power for the future economy.

✅ Create Nuclear Ready Grid Zones
Establish fast-track energy and infrastructure zones designed to support manufacturing, AI infrastructure, and long-term grid reliability.

✅ Protect Working Families from Massive Utility Cost Shifts
Prevent middle-class families from carrying the financial burden of large-scale infrastructure expansion driven by hyperscale energy demand.

✅ Require Large Energy Users to Contribute Dedicated Power Generation
Ensure major energy consumers contribute directly to generation capacity instead of passing costs onto ratepayers.

✅ Strengthen America’s Grid Infrastructure
Modernize and secure the electric grid to improve:
- reliability,
- resilience,
- cybersecurity,
- and affordability.

✅ Create Thousands of High-Paying American Jobs
Expand careers in:
- engineering,
- manufacturing,
- skilled trades,
- construction,
- cybersecurity,
- and energy technology.

Small Modular Reactors are not just energy policy.

They are:
- manufacturing jobs,
